ShippingTree is a provider of cloud-based logistics and e-commerce fulfillment services for consumer product companies. We have one main goal; smart, powerful and simple order fulfillment for all. We're changing the way companies approach logistics, and how commerce is conducted. Since launching our service in February 2018, we have fulfilled over five million orders to over 100 countries around the world. ShippingTree is headquartered in Cypress, California.
We are looking for a full stack developer to join our remotely distributed team in a unique and rewarding opportunity. Working closely with our fully Canadian based development team you will help us design, implement and maintain a wide range of features and systems, such as inventory management, API connectors and integrations with third-party platforms. Since the position is remotely based, you are self-motivated and disciplined, and love collaboration within a virtual team. Our challenges span many technologies, including web and API connectors to server-side development (Python, Django, PostgreSQL).
As part of our flexible, supportive, and entrepreneurial engineering team, you’ll collaborate with us to:
Design data models to support application features using Django, Python, jQuery and Bootstrap Build APIs used by apps third party eCommerce and shipping solutions, such as Shopify, EasyPost, Magento and more Unit test everything

Qualifications
Five+ years experience as a computer programmer or software developer
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, or a related discipline
Experience in UI development using JavaScript
Experience developing web applications using one or more web development languages such as PHP, Python, Ruby, or Java
Programming experience in one or more object-oriented languages, including C, C++, Objective-C, Java, Ruby, and/or Python.
Experience working with RDBMS such a PostgreSQL or MySQL
Familiarity with developing applications in a Linux environment
Nice to Haves:
Django Amazon Web Services (EC2, RDS, S3 specifically) Github React nginx
