Associate Analyst Internship
The ideal candidate will manage proprietary research and deal sourcing, outreach initiatives, analytics, modeling, memo preparation and transaction diligence. The candidate will work closely with the Managing Partner and interact directly with external advisors. This is an unpaid internship, but is supportive of academic course credit. I’ve said this many times – this is the internship I wish I would’ve had.
Responsibilities
· Research: segmentation (industry + geography + product/service) and competitive analysis
· Sourcing: acquisition target leads
· Outreach: develop and execute campaigns
· Analysis: financial and customer analysis, modeling and memo preparation
· Due diligence: deal-specific, financing and execution
Qualifications
· Highly motivated, intelligent, solution-oriented, resourceful, detail-oriented and creative self-starter
· Strong quantitative skills, communication skills (written and verbal), soft skills
· High curiosity of business operations and strategy
· Willing to learn, manage and improve workflows utilizing multiple data services and tools
· Positive attitude and great sense of humor
