SNÖ Ventures is an early stage, pan-Nordic venture capital firm that invests in high growth technology companies led by ambitious founders. Since founding the firm in 2016, we have quickly become one of the preeminent Nordic venture capital firms with roughly $100M under management.
Our mission at SNÖ is to enhance the Nordic ecosystem by facilitating the sharing of resources, talent, ideas and experience throughout the Nordic region, and to leverage our international networks to support Nordic companies in their global expansion. In this pursuit, we focus both on the local development of Nordics through our daily activity and through events including Founder Stories, and on fortifying deep relationships with global funds, including co-investing with: Founders Fund, Andreessen Horowitz, Accel, Paradigm, General Catalyst, Coatue, Y Combinator, etc.
Our investment team currently consists of: Magne, Teo, Max and Kremena, with international and entrepreneurial backgrounds spanning digital marketing, gaming, UX design, web development, legal, investment banking, community building, and more.
We had an exciting 2021, highlighted by the launch of SNÖ Fund II in strategic partnership with Peter Thiel and backed by premier global investors, and with investments including Sky Mavis / Axie Infinity, PortalOne, Mentorcam and Kitemaker.
We are now looking for two Principals to join our investment team and help drive the continued growth of SNÖ in Sweden and Denmark.
Responsibilities
- Leading the full life cycle on investments: sourcing, conducting due diligence, making investment recommendations and helping the portfolio
- Develop original theses on the future of technology and venture capital
- Lead firm development and expansion in Sweden / Denmark
Qualifications
- Several years relevant experience - ideally including in venture capital
- Ability and desire to form unique perspectives through first principles analysis
- Deep and expansive network in the Swedish / Danish tech ecosystem
