He carried out auditing activities from 1985 to 1991, the last two years as a manager, at the company "Coopers & Lybrand SpA ". During this period he carried out the auditing of both statutory and consolidated financial statements, of industrial, commercial and financial companies, both listed and unlisted. As a responsible executive, he has followed numerous due diligence activities on the occasion of merger & acquisitions of important corporate groups. As part of his professional activity, he has gained particular experience in the field of corporate taxation, corporate financial statements drawn up according to Italian law and according to international accounting standards, extraordinary transactions, company valuations and contracts. He was a member of the National Study Commission of the National Council of Chartered Accountants on the subject of "Financial statements and consolidated financial statements pursuant to Legislative Decree 127/91". He has held teaching positions as an adjunct professor of General Accounting and Applied and Corporate Auditing , at the Forlì branch of the Faculty of Economics of the University of Bologna.
