Short bio

Richard joined Clay Knox in 2011 and quickly progressed to the role of Director of Tax in the business. Richard leads the tax advisory services offered by Clay Knox, as well as having responsibility for a portfolio of film and entertainment clients. Richard’s experience has been very much focused on tax consultancy projects, predominately with a corporate biased. As a result, Richard is able to advice businesses, entrepreneurs and wealthy individuals on a range of tax issues, often involving the complex interaction of different forms of taxation, and indeed different tax jurisdictions. In his time at Clay Knox, Richard has assisted clients with countless issues including; business sales, corporate mergers and acquisitions, individual and corporate tax residency matters, capital gains tax planning, reviewing overseas structures, SEIS and EIS companies, property investing and trading.
